Giving Back: John has a deep commitment and involvement in the community - He has volunteered time to Canuck Place (Hospice for terminally ill children), BC Special Olympics, SPCA and is on the Board of Directors of the Young Mens Adventure Weekend. John also gives numerous guest lectures each year at schools, colleges, universities and not-for-profit organizations.

DTM (Distinguished Toastmaster) - The highest designation awarded by Toastmasters International. This designation requires a personal commitment of over 2,000 hours of training in many aspects of effective communication and leadership.
