Martin has served as a college and university instructor and workshop leader in the areas of curriculum design, leadership and supervision skills development and staff motivation. He has also provided ISO 9001 consulting services to manufacturing companies and developed quality assurance programs for industries as diverse as steel fabrication, plastic insulation, wine bottle labelling and horticultural.

Martin is a Certified Training and Development Professional (CTDP) with the Canadian Society for Training and Development, a Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) with Toastmasters International., a certified Instructor (Provincial Instructors Diploma), a Civil Engineering Technologist and received his MBA from City University. He is certified to practice Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) ® Step 1 and Step 2.

Currently Martin is writing a book on personality development based on Carl Jung’s Psychology (MBTI is based on Jung’s work) and pursuing a Master Practitioner MBTI certification.

DTM (Distinguished Toastmaster) - The highest designation awarded by Toastmasters International. This designation requires a personal commitment of over 2,000 hours of training in many aspects of effective communication and leadership.
